These carpets were knotted by members of nomadic tribes, hence the name of the tribe. It is characterised by its excellent wool quality, which is shiny and soft. The original designs usually depict geometric shapes with a central axis. The wool is dyed with natural dyes. Its origin is close to that of Shiraz or Kashkuli.
